From its inception in 1996, it has been the endeavor of SMC, to impart value based education. We follow the path of our education laid out by our foundress –Venerable Mary Ward. This has inspired all those who connected with our school to strive faithfully and perservingly to uplift the dignity of the students under our cares and to prepare them to play a positive role in the family and society.
The school has shaped itself into a well organized learning institution. We are fortunate prepared and caring staff. Or school emphasis quality education for all students and the opportunity to grow an individuals.
Our curriculum aims at moldings them into creative thinking and responsible citizens. They are sensitized to environmental concerns feeling of nationalism and communal harmony.

St. Mary’s convent school Alakode is owned and managed by the sisters of the Congregation of Jesus(C. J). This school imparts quality education. We aim at forming vibrant citizens who are able to face the challenges of life.
We provide a place where a child is nurtured intellectually psychologically and spiritually and help in unfolding his or her inner and external capabilities and to find his/ her purpose in life.
